I had signed up to subscribe to your Youtube channel and found myself running into the most horrid, objectionable content and different people were trying their best to hook up with me and well, to be honest, I am not willing to pay that price to go onto Youtube for anyone’s videos. I can watch the videos on your page but I won’t be signing in or subscribing. It is frustrating that one cannot go anywhere without running into this trash and I refuse to subject myself and my family to it. Thanks for your work though. Your blog has enriched mine and my walk with Christ and I hope your time away with God was a fruitful one. I have a saying, and it might make you feel better about the stuff God deems necessary to take away as He conforms you, “Don’t focus on the pieces falling to the ground, they were just weighing you down.”
I understand. I stay on YouTube in order to fight the darkness. For me, I refuse to flee because there is so much on there that is good, so much preaching I need to hear, so much growing I need to do. I respect your decision to stay away from it. My time with God isn’t over but, yes, it is fruitful. There is so much going on in my life that is difficult, so much that only God can handle; therefore I will sit at His feet and trust in Him. I have come back to the blogs a time or two to handle a couple of things. I am WAY behind on answering comments but plan to get to that this week. Hi, Youtube is a very dark place, but no darker than the world itself. Youtube is a condensed version of the world and that makes it a fresh mission field to shine the Light of Jesus. That’s the very reason I am there too. May our Lord Jesus bless your endeavors to shine His Light to this dark world.
