The church doesn’t accept or believe God’s Word on manhood and womanhood. Content to bow to cultural voices, we proclaim biblical ways oppressive, old-fashioned or not applicable. By doing so we proclaim loudly that we do not know God for the Lord and His Word never changes. What God had to say about our identities as a man or as a woman in the beginning is the same message He has for us today.
Dr. Voddie Baucham is a bold and brave man of God who is willing to preach the truth of God’s Word as it applies to gender roles (and every other area of our lives) even though his teaching flies in the face of culture and brings him much verbal abuse. May we all be so brave.
